COMING SOON.....

The story of Hannah Dance and Charles Bayliss will continue soon. This coming Saturday I hope to be making a journey to Islington Cemetery in Finchley, London. Charles Bayliss, his son Charles William Bayliss and his son Herbert, m grandfather are buried there. Several years ago I traced Charles' unmarked grave. This time I hope to trace the graves of Charles William and Herbert.  Herbert is commemorated on the war memorial which is pictures above. If the trip goes ahead as planned I'll be reporting on it on this blog.

  1. "The story of Hannah Dance and Charles Bayliss..."

Sounds like the beginning to a marvelous folk song! And Hannah Dance is one of the best names ever!

Also I wanted to warn you about going to Islington because I believe that's where Trillian was taken up by the Infinite Improbability Drive. So watch yer back!

  2. Yes, Douglas Adams was one of Islington's famous residents. Dance, Dance, wherever you may for Hannah was the Queen of the Dance!
