MORE TO SEE...

Friday, 22 June 2012

As you can see from the picture above, I've been decorating. Kidding aside, I really have. Nothing very spectacular and really more a freshening up of paint and a slight rearrangement of the flat. This has, unfortunately, led to my neglect of this blog. I apologise because I assure you I enjoy writing it as much as you, hopefully, enjoy reading it.  I will be writing the post about Arthur Bayliss over the weekend and I promise it will appear during next week. In the meantime over on our companion blog there is a first.  My friend, fellow blogger and Londonophile, James is my guest blogger. James has contributed a piece on Liverpool Road in Islington which I think you will find interesting and enjoyable whether you know the thoroughfare or not. I have added my own memories of Liverpool Road. James piece will appear in the next few days.

A less pleasant subject is that not so long ago I was accused of only wanting comments on this blog that I agreed with. This is, I should think, an obviously silly accusation as I am more than happy for anybody to send me corrections, comments and further information - indeed, I wish more people would.
My recent piece on Charles Bayliss needed two corrections which I was more than happy to make when members of the family pointed them out.  So if you see a mistake please feel free to point it out, if you see something you don't like on the blog, let me know.
